June 2004
June 2004 and AAP Industries launched its new logo for the 21st century. Gone is the Australian flag and the colours of red white and blue. In saying that though AAP Industries is still 100% Australian owned made and manufactured whilst continuing to strive and offer better levels of customer service to industry. The theory behind the new logo was one of the global markets where AAP looks around the world for new products that could be used by industry here in Australia to help improve production for different companies and or organizations. Whilst we do that we also look to better diversify our product range to markets in which we currently service. If you look closely at the new logo you can also see the lettering AAP in the design. We at AAP see this new logo staying with us for many years because it will have the ability to be reproduced on products and corporate material with ease.

A NEW WAREHOUSE FOR THE FUTURE
This month marks an exciting change for AAP Industries as the company heads towards completion of its new National Distribution Centre in Northgate Brisbane. The new warehouse and office will replace the existing branch location at Eagle farm where AAP has been for the last 12 years. Much thought has gone into the new Northgate site, which includes a warehouse of 5000 squared metres with 20 aisles of picking racks stretching 6.1m high. The purchase of new Crown Lift Trucks also compliments the warehouse as more space is now provided for racking, as the new Crown lift trucks only need a limited amount of space to turn compared to conventional Forklifts. Another significant change for AAP is that Brisbane is now the National Distribution Centre for Australia, taking the role previously performed by the Sydney warehouse and factory. With Brisbane's extra space and new facilities AAP is determined to service its customers to the highest standard possible. The new AAP site also consists of a 520 square metres of office on two levels, which includes a new board room and a new internals sales area constructed for ease of communication and faster processing of orders, the office area also includes ample room and meeting facilities for further growth in the future. So with all the right infrastructure being put in place AAP is ensuring that it will be ready to service its customer with efficiency and quality well into the 21st century.
